Variable power supply circuit can be made using the
chip IC voltage regulators positive variable 3 pin LM317 circuit as in the
picture below. Circuit power supply this variable can provide output with
variable voltage of 1.2 volts DC up to 30 volts DC maximum current and capable
of going up to 10A. Set this variable power supply using LM317 voltage
regulator IC as a variable and use the transistor as a current amplifier TIP
147 output power supply variable. Variable power supply circuit of 10A uses a
transformer without CT 32V output with 10 ampere.
The complete set of power
supply variable LM317 10A can be seen on the following series of pictures. A
series of Power Supply Variable LM317 10A
A series of power supply variable above is composed
of several parts as follows. Step down voltage transformer without using CT
with 32 volt AC output with a maximum current of 10 ampere. Wave rectifier or
use full wave rectifier circuits of diode bridge. The first is the DC filter
capacitor C1 10000 uF/40V that serves to eliminate the full-wave rectifier
ripple from Diode Bridge. Variable Voltage Regulator using IC LM317 as
controller output voltage of power supply variable 10A. Reference voltage
regulator IC LM317 voltage regulator is a voltage-divider configuration Ohm
variable resistor and R120 (potentiometer) 2.2 K Ohm. 2.2 K Ohm potentiometer
is used to adjust the output voltage of power supply of 1.2 volts DC to 30
volts DC. Amplifier power supply variable currents 10A uses a power transistor
TIP147 capable of supplying the current maximum DC 10A. The final filter series
power supply variable LM317 10A uses a capacitor 10 uF/40V mounted on the
output circuit of power supply variable LM317 10A above. Output current
amplifier power supply variable LM317 10A above (transistors TIP 142) will
produce heat while working on the load with large current consumption,
therefore simply have to TIP 147 transistor mounted heat sink to reduce the
heat that occur when power supply variable LM317 10A works.
